Existential Coaching
When the life you’ve built leaves you wondering what comes next.
You may be successful, capable, needed, and deeply committed to the life you have built.
And yet something is shifting.
Who am I beyond the roles that have defined me? What matters now? How do I want to live from here?
Existential coaching gives you a confidential, structured space to explore those questions without rushing toward an answer.
You may recognize yourself here
I work with people facing questions of purpose, identity, transition, and life direction. My particular focus is on those who have spent years achieving, leading, providing, serving, or being needed — and who find themselves asking what comes next.
You've succeeded. Now what?
You have built a career and accomplished a great deal, but success no longer answers all the questions. You’re wondering what you want the next part of life to be about.
The mission still matters. But so do you.
You care deeply about the work and people rely on you. Yet you’re beginning to ask where the organization’s purpose ends and your own begins.
A familiar chapter is changing.
Children leave home. Retirement approaches. Responsibilities shift. There is suddenly more space — and an opportunity to decide deliberately what you want to make of it.
Sometimes the question behind the question is the important one.
“What should I do next?” may really mean “What would make what I do next meaningful?”
Existential coaching explores that deeper terrain: identity, values, meaning, responsibility, limits, time, purpose, and possibility.
It is not about prescribing the right answer. It is about helping you discern what is genuinely yours.
Pathways to Purpose
Pathways to Purpose is my existential coaching framework that gives our conversations shape without determining where you should end up. Over 6-12 months of one-to-one coaching, we explore how you arrived here, what matters now, what you may need to retain or relinquish, and what possibilities deserve your attention.
The Pathways to Purpose program is for you if you:
-
Feel somewhat untethered in your career or personal life
-
Question what it means to live a meaningful life in a world of increasing automation
-
Crave a thoughtful, non-judgmental space to explore life’s big questions
-
Value self-exploration and want more than just shallow advice
-
Are ready to put in hard work! Examining your life is no easy task; it demands bravery and vulnerability to consider who you are and what matters to you
The aim is simple:
-
Firmer inner footing.
-
Clearer direction.
-
More deliberate choices about how you want to live.
If you're seeking more than surface-level answers, if you're ready to explore your deeper purpose, identity, and direction...
Frequently Asked Questions
Start with a conversation.
You do not need a neatly formulated problem or a predetermined goal.
Tell me a little about what is changing, what you are questioning, or what brought you here. We can talk for 30 minutes and decide together whether this work might be useful. Worst case scenario is we both enjoy making each other's acquaintance and you get something off your chest with an objective, attentive listener.
